Event Intro | 活動簡介
After decades of efforts by NGOs & NPOs, Taiwan has become a leader in gender equality in Asia and other parts of the world, particularly in the areas of women's political participation, LGBT rights, and the prevention of gender-based violence. This year, in response to the theme of the United Nations CSW66 and the call for intergenerational climate justice by the Generation Equality Action Coalition, the 2022 Taiwan Gender Equality Week will showcase women-led climate justice actions in Taiwan.
經過民間社會組織數十年的努力，台灣在亞洲和世界其他地區的女性政治參與、LGBT權利以及預防性別暴力等領域已成為性別平等的領導者。今年，響應聯合國CSW66的主題和世代平等行動聯盟的氣候正義呼籲，2022台灣性別平等周將展現台灣女性主導的氣候正義行動。
Opening Ceremony with Video and Installation | 結合影片與裝置的啟動儀式
In the opening ceremony, we began by playing a video. Once the video ended, a half-sphere covered in smoke appeared before everyone's eyes, obscuring its contents. As the ceremony progressed, the President and distinguished guests placed their hands on the half-sphere, causing the smoke to gradually dissipate and revealing the Earth inside. The design of both the video and installation resonates with the theme #Taiwan4ClimateJustice, symbolising our collective efforts to disperse the pollution haze and reclaim the beauty of the land and oceans.
在啟動儀式中，我們以播放影片作為開端。當影片播放完畢，大家眼前呈現的是一個被煙霧籠罩的半球體，無法清晰看到其內容。隨著啟動儀式的進行，總統和貴賓們將手放在半球體上，煙霧漸漸消散，揭示其內部的地球。這影片和裝置的設計皆與主題 #Taiwan4ClimateJustice 相呼應，象徵我們共同努力消散污染迷霧，重新找回美麗的土地和海洋。
VIS Design 主視覺設計
Symbolising the power of women with the embodiment of Mother Earth, adorned with vibrant and blooming flowers, it represents the harmonious coexistence with nature. With gentle hands holding the island of Taiwan, it emphasises the significance of Taiwan as the main venue for this event. Through the pose of the figure and the placement of objects, the diagonal composition is strengthened, creating a clear visual flow. It starts from the foreground of flowers, moves to the facial expression of the figure, then to the hands cradling Taiwan, and extends to the distant background with birds and the sun, forming a progressive narrative. The main colour palette of the illustration features shades of pink and teal, inspired by the TGEW brand colours, with the addition of green. The colours are bright and gentle, conveying hope and a positive feeling. The organic brushstrokes in the illustrations enhance the human touch and add to the overall warmth.
The main visual system of this project has a wide range of applications, including all materials used on the main stage, as well as invitation cards, signage, on-site decorations, website, various templates, and more.
以大地之母象徵女性之力，身上綠意盎然且綻放出繽紛花朵，意指與自然之和平共處。雙手溫柔地捧起台灣島，強調此次活動台灣作為主場之重要性。透過人物姿態與物件擺放強化斜對角線構圖，塑造明確的視覺動線，由前景的花草至人物臉孔，再至手捧著的台灣島與遠方背景的鳥群和太陽，產生循序漸進之故事性。插畫主色調以TGEW品牌色粉色調與藍綠色為主，並加入綠色，色彩明亮且溫和，傳遞希望與正向感受。大量有機的插畫筆觸質感強化人文色彩。
本次的主視覺系統的應用範圍相當廣泛，除了主舞台上所使用到的所有素材外，還包括邀請卡、指引標誌、現場佈置、網站、各式模版……等。
Environment Design | 展覽與場佈設計
In addition to the activities on the main stage and the overall venue setup, we curated the theme #Taiwan4ClimateJustice to present various aspects of domestic and international gender equality development. Through this curation, we aim to highlight the diverse dimensions of gender equality, both within Taiwan and globally. We hope that this theme will raise awareness about climate justice and explore the crucial role of gender equality in this issue.
除了主舞台上的活動及整個場地的佈置，我們精心策展了主題為 #Taiwan4ClimateJustice，展示了豐富多樣的國內外性別平等發展面向。透過這次策展，我們旨在彰顯性別平等議題的多元層面，無論是在台灣國內還是全球範疇。我们希望透过這個主題，引起人們對於氣候正義的關注，並探討性別平等在此議題中的重要角色。

Through an interactive website, people from around the world can gain a better understanding of climate issues. Each answer option corresponds to different graphics and colours, so each person may receive a unique combination based on their responses. If their score is high enough, they can even earn a proud title! Click here to visit the website.
透過互動式網站，讓世界各地的網友都可以藉此更加認識氣候議題。每個答案選項都會對應到不同的圖形與顏色，因此每個人都可能獲得不同的背景組合，如果分數夠高的話還可以得到令人驕傲的稱號喲～

We have also created an Instagram filter to align with the previous promotional campaign, allowing more people to join in the celebration of #Taiwan4ClimateJustice. Simply place your palm in front of the camera, and you can hold Taiwan in the palm of your hand.
