Flash Drive for Freedom is a global initiative by the Human Rights Foundation, addressing issues of digital freedom and access to information.
At RightsCon Taipei, the project took the form of a spatial installation.
Rather than relying on explanation, the installation allowed visitors to encounter these ideas through presence, movement, and engagement within the space.
The approach focused on translating existing material into an experiential structure.
Through overall layout, pacing, and visual restraint, the message was able to surface gradually as a part of the event.
A small interactive lightbox was introduced as a subtle point of engagement within the exhibition booth, offering a moment of pause and curiosity amid a dense information setting.
This project explores how spatial design and interaction can create room for understanding and reflection — supporting understanding through experience rather than direct instruction.
Flash Drive for Freedom
